Terms and Conditions


New jewelry items are eligible for a 30 day exchange or return from the date of purchase. The item must be unaltered, unworn and in the same condition as when purchased. Sizing and other alterations void the exchange policy. Altered items are not returnable or exchangeable. Refunds are given in the same payment form as was used to purchase the item. Please allow 7 business days for returns to post to your account. Gift cards and store credit are not redeemable for cash.


All custom and special orders typically take 4 - 6 weeks to complete. Custom and special orders are not refundable, not exchangeable nor returnable. These are final sales. A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required on all special orders and custom orders at the time of purchase. Custom and special orders not paid for and picked up within 90 days of completion will be considered forfeited and will be re-entered into inventory for sale. Customer’s Signature ESTATE JEWELRY: Estate jewelry items are eligible for a 14 day EXCHANGE ONLY from the date of purchase. The item must be unaltered, unworn and in the same condition as when purchased. Sizing and other alterations void the exchange policy. If preferred, a store credit can be issued that has no expiration date and can be used at any time in the future. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash. Estate jewelry is not returnable. No cash, check, or credit card refunds will be issued on estate jewelry.


CLEARANCE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE AND NOT RETURNABLE. Customer’s Signature LAYAWAY: Most stock items are eligible to be put on a six (6) month layaway. A minimum down payment of 30% is required. A payment of at least 10% is due each month that the item is on layaway to keep in good standing. If no payments are made for 60 consecutive days at any point during the layaway period, the layaway agreement may be void and the item may be entered back in to inventory for sale. Any monies accrued will be given back as store credit only. Customer’s Signature


All new jewelry (non-estate) items have a one year warranty against manufacturer’s defect. Our warranty does not cover excessive wear, negligence, loss, or theft. Raleigh Diamond will make the final decision in determining if the warranty issue is due to unreasonable wear or abuse.


Many gemstones have historically and traditionally been enhanced to improve color, clarity, and/or stability. Unless noted otherwise, we must assume that all gems have been subjected to usual and customary industry treatments. All relevant information will be readily provided to the best of our knowledge.


Raleigh Diamond sources diamonds only from the most legitimate, well recognized industry sources not involved in funding the conflict diamond trade and in full compliance with the United Nations Security Council resolutions. Raleigh Diamond hereby guarantees that these diamonds are conflict free, based on the knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by our diamond suppliers.


Raleigh Diamond is not responsible for items left over 90 days from completion date. Raleigh Diamond is not responsible for the identification of stones or jewelry listed on the repair ticket and receipt. Raleigh Diamond is not responsible for enhancements that are undetectable and/or unknown to the customer that cause damage during normal and reasonable repair conditions. In the event of loss, damage, or theft strictly due to negligence, Raleigh Diamond’s liability is limited to the actual cost of the item’s repair or replacement, not to exceed the estimated value listed on the repair receipt. Raleigh Diamond will clean and inspect your jewelry items every three months at no charge.
